Promoting Equine Activities In Montgomery County, PA

Welcome to the Montgomery County Equine Council
MCEC logo

The Montgomery County Equine Council, (M.C.E.C.), was founded in 1979 to meet the needs and interests of equestrians in Montgomery and the surrounding counties of Southeastern Pennsylvania.  The initial goal was to save open space and public lands for public recreation use.
The MCEC works in cooperation with government decision makers to pass legislation beneficial to horses.  Efforts are coordinated with agricultural, conservation groups, other trail and open space uses for mutual goals.  We advocate for safe riding practices and help plan, maintain and monitor public trail systems that are shared use and non-motorized.
With your support and fundraising events, the MCEC can continue to maintain safe and natural trails, organize special events and sponsor special interest lectures. The Montgomery County Equine Council welcomes all members and new comers to be an active part of the council meetings and activities.  Please find more information on this website.
We can make a difference for the equestrian world.
     Happy Trails!
